We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team as well as work in the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations as well as helping the warehouse team and driving a forklift (training provided).

Duties:

  • Ensure load is safe and secure and loaded in appropriate order for drops.
  • Carry out vehicle maintenance checks and ensure vehicle is roadworthy.
  • Always drive in a safe manner and adhere to current driving legislation.
  • Make deliveries efficiently ensuring customers' requirements are met and deal with any problems as they arise.
  • On completion of drops return to Service Centre as soon as possible to make yourself available for other work.
  • Work to systems and procedures so that material is off-loaded and distributed in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
  • Work in a safe manner, always adhering to the Company's Health and Safety Policy and Safe Working Practices.
  • Undertake all tasks with a customer service, can-do attitude and contribute to improving the performance of the business and the profit share pot.
  • You will be required to help the warehouse when needed & will be trained to drive a forklift (reach & counterbalance).

Requirements:

  • Valid driving licence (C+E or equivalent).
  • No more than 6 points on licence.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to plan routes effectively.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road.

Monday to Friday 0700/0800 - 1500/1600
