Class 2 HGV Driver with HIAB

Location: Maryhill

Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 16:30

Salary: £15.52 per hour + overtime opportunities

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver with a HIAB licence to join a busy and established operation based in Maryhill. This is a full-time, permanent position offering consistent weekday hours, regular overtime opportunities during peak periods, and excellent rates of pay.

The Role

  • Deliver building materials safely and efficiently to customers.
  • Operate HIAB equipment to load and unload materials.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service on delivery routes.
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence.
  • Valid HIAB certification and practical operating experience.
  • Previous experience delivering building materials is highly desirable.
  • CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach.
  • Stable work history preferred.

Pay & Benefits

  • Standard Rate: £15.52 per hour
  • Overtime Rate: £23.28 per hour
  • Monday to Friday working pattern
  • Overtime available during busy periods
  • Saturday work available (08:00 - 12:00) paid at time and a half
