Job Description: Operations Manager Logistics & Transport Location: Paisley Salary: £50,000 £55,000 per annum (DOE) Hours: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (910 hours per day maximum) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager on behalf of our client based in Paisley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established logistics operation in a key leadership role, overseeing day-to-day transport and operational activities. The Role As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the transport operation, managing resources effectively, maintaining service levels, and driving operational performance. Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily transport and logistics operation. Manage drivers, transport planners, and operational staff. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations. Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Deliver exceptional service levels to customers and stakeholders. Manage operational costs and maximise efficiency. Support recruitment, training, and development of team members. Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in a Transport Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role within the logistics sector. Strong understanding of transport and logistics operations. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. CPC qualification is preferred but not essential. What's on Offer?
