The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team based in Bothwell. This is a dayshift role working Monday to Friday with 05:00 starts. You will be part of a 2-man delivery crew, delivering goods directly to customer premises across the region. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, reliable, and comfortable carrying out manual handling as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customer premises.
- Work as part of a 2-man delivery crew.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
- Complete vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation.
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
- Good understanding of drivers' hours and transport legislation.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to carry out manual handling duties.
