Blustones Supply Chain are currently recruiting dependable and experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers for ongoing or adhoc work.
Ongoing work available for:
- Tramping
- Nights
- Days
- Adhoc weekends
Role Overview:
- Tramping Monday to Friday
- Day or Night shifts available
- Adhoc and weekend availability
- Curtainside general haulage
- Nationwide deliveries and collections
- Overnight stays in vehicle throughout the week
- Higher rates paid on weekends and bank holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive long-distance Class 1 (C+E) routes across the UK
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Ensure timely and safe deliveries to multiple destinations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
- Communicate clearly with the transport office
- Comply with driver regulations, WTD and tachograph rules
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tacho card
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience preferred
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, IN convictions)
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with overnight tramping
