Job Description: HGV Class 2 Driver in Lanark
Pay Rates:
- Base Rate: £16.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Umbrella Rate: £20.00 per hour
- Overtime: increased rate after 48 hours per week and premium weekend rate
- Bank Holiday Premium: Time and a half

Role Overview: Bluestones Supply Chain is seeking reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's team in Lanark. This role involves driving a Class 2 (rigid) vehicle for multi-drop deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Operation: Safely drive a Class 2 vehicle in compliance with DVSA and company regulations.
- Deliveries: Perform multi-drop deliveries efficiently, adhering to scheduled times.
- Vehicle Checks: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is roadworthy.
- Documentation: Complete relevant paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and vehicle inspection reports.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service at every delivery point.
- Health & Safety: Maintain high standards of health and safety and cleanliness at all times.
Requirements:
- Licence: Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence.
- Certifications: Valid CPC and Digi Tacho Card.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of recent Class 2 driving experience preferred; new passes are accepted.
- Driving Record: No more than 6 penalty points on the licence (no DR, DD, IN endorsements).
- Knowledge: Good understanding of drivers hours and working time directive.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual handling tasks as required.
