Role Overview
We are looking for experienced and reliableClass 1 Tramping Driversto support our logistics operations based out ofBellshill. This is an ongoing opportunity for drivers seeking consistent, full-week tramping work with the choice ofday or night shifts.
You will be responsible for nationwide deliveries, overnighting in the vehicle throughout the week. The ideal candidate will have previous tramping experience, a strong understanding of driver compliance, and a professional approach to timekeeping and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out long-distance Class 1 deliveries and collections across the UK.
- Complete overnight stays in the vehicle Monday to Friday (tramping).
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and returned promptly.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and care for your assigned vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding route updates or delays.
- Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph rules, and Working Time Regulations.
Requirements
- Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience preferred.
- No more than 6 points on licence (no DR, IN, or DD convictions).
- Willingness to tramp Monday to Friday.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
