BSNI are hiring a Payroll Administrator on behalf of our leading client in Warrenpoint. With the option of part time hours, this role gives added flexibility for the right candidate.
Job Description
- Calculating wages and salaries
- Calculating pay raises
- Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters
- Ensuring that staff are paid on time and receive the correct payments
- Completing and processing returns to HMRC, pension providers and other statutory bodies
- Carry out month and year end processes essential for statutory and other returns
- Deal with enquiries from staff and external contacts and agencies, by telephone or by email
- Prepare budgetary information from the payroll as required by the Company Accountant and provide support to the Company Accountant during the annual budgeting process
- Participate in any projects to develop the payroll processes and database, taking a lead on identifying improvements
Essential Criteria
- Experienced working to tight deadlines
- Experienced in working to high levels of accuracy and detail with data input
- I.T Proficient with demonstrable use of Excel
- Educated to GCSE with a minimum grade C in both Maths and English
Desirable Criteria
- Experienced working within a payroll department
- Knowledge of UK payroll legislation
