BSNI are hiring a Payroll Administrator on behalf of our leading client in Warrenpoint. With the option of part time hours, this role gives added flexibility for the right candidate.

Job Description

  • Calculating wages and salaries
  • Calculating pay raises
  • Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, payslips and other payroll matters
  • Ensuring that staff are paid on time and receive the correct payments
  • Completing and processing returns to HMRC, pension providers and other statutory bodies
  • Carry out month and year end processes essential for statutory and other returns
  • Deal with enquiries from staff and external contacts and agencies, by telephone or by email
  • Prepare budgetary information from the payroll as required by the Company Accountant and provide support to the Company Accountant during the annual budgeting process
  • Participate in any projects to develop the payroll processes and database, taking a lead on identifying improvements

Essential Criteria

  • Experienced working to tight deadlines
  • Experienced in working to high levels of accuracy and detail with data input
  • I.T Proficient with demonstrable use of Excel
  • Educated to GCSE with a minimum grade C in both Maths and English

Desirable Criteria

  • Experienced working within a payroll department
  • Knowledge of UK payroll legislation
