BSNI have an excellent opportunity for our distribution client based in Lisburn for forklift drivers.

Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm-11pm OR Monday to Friday 9am-6pm. Every 1 in 4 Saturdays a requirement for both shifts, you can work this as extra time or take a day off during the week.

Rate of pay: £13.85 phr. Overtime paid at time and a half.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
  • Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all materials are correctly documented and stored.
  • Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on forklift machinery to maintain optimal performance.
  • Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols, including heavy lifting where necessary.
  • Support warehouse organisation by stacking, storing, and retrieving items as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and ensure timely deliveries.

Candidate requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year forklift experience.
  • Valid counterbalance forklift license would be advantageous.
  • Experience in a warehouse environment.
