Bluestones staffing is working with a leading distribution company in the Newtownabbey area and due to continued growth they have a requirement for an immediate start Forklift operator. We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products within the facility. Your expertise will ensure the safe and accurate handling of goods, supporting overall warehouse operations and maintaining a smooth supply chain process.
The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and experience in shipping and receiving procedures.
Location: Doagh Road
Hours: Monday - Friday 07:30am - 16:30pm
Salary: £15:00phr
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records accurately.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stacking and storage to prevent damage.
- Support warehouse organization by maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
Skills:
- Must have a valid counter balance forklift license.
- Minimum 6 months valid forklift experience.
- Must be able to do heavy lifting.
