Bluestones Medical is recruiting experienced GPs to support our client's Urgent Treatment Centres across the West Midlands. You will work within an award-winning urgent care provider, embedded in NHS Trusts, with direct access to X-ray diagnostics and clearly defined escalation pathways into Emergency Departments. This role is suited to clinicians with recent UTC, A&E, or Emergency Department experience, confident in managing undifferentiated acute presentations within a governed urgent care setting.

  • Robust clinical governance and escalation protocols
  • Direct access to diagnostics and ED referral
  • Multidisciplinary team working
  • Adastra clinical system

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently assess, diagnose, and manage acute and urgent presentations
  • Recognise red flags and escrow appropriately to ED or secondary care
  • Deliver safe, patient-centred care in line with NHS UTC standards
  • Maintain accurate clinical records on Adastra
  • Work effectively within MDT environments

Shifts & Locations

  • Sessions Available: Weekday Weekend In-hours and out-of-hours
  • Other locations: Birmingham | West Brom | Dudley | Telford
  • Base and Mobile shifts available
  • Flexible session booking to fit your availability.

Rates & Pay

£85-£90 per hour Payment via Limited Company or Sole Trader Prompt payroll

Essential Criteria

  • GMC-registered GP with NHS Performers List inclusion
  • Recent experience in a UTC, A&E, or Emergency Department setting
  • Minimum 2 years' UK post-qualification experience
  • Proven experience using Adastra
  • Enhanced DBS (issued within the last 12 months)
  • Right to Work in the UK (passport / birth certificate / visa as applicable)
  • Valid medical indemnity insurance
  • In-date mandatory training
