We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Psychotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality therapeutic care to children and young people, supporting their trauma recovery and personal development., * Assess and evaluate the psychological needs of children and young people in our care.

  • Assess, evaluate and review each young person’s progress against our in-house SEED Care Model.

  • Develop and implement individualised therapeutic plans based on best practices and evidence-based approaches.

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, utilising various therapeutic modalities.

  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, educators, and healthcare providers, to ensure holistic care for each child.

  • Supervise and mentor junior therapists and psychological staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.

  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of treatment plans in collaboration with the care team.

  • Engage with families and caregivers, providing guidance and support to enhance their involvement in the therapeutic process.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.

  • Participate in case reviews and multidisciplinary team meetings.

  • Master’s or Degree in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.

  • Valid registration with a professional body (e.g., HCPC, BACP).

  • Extensive experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.

  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and attachment theory.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Experience in supervision and mentoring of junior staff is desirable.
