We are currently seeking experienced General Practitioners to support an established Out of Hours service across Worcestershire, with overnight shifts currently a key priority. This is an excellent opportunity for General Practitioners looking for flexible out-of-hours work, with regular weekday, overnight, weekend and bank holiday sessions available.
Role Overview
- Provide urgent and unscheduled primary care outside normal General Practitioner opening hours
- Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute presentations
- Work autonomously while collaborating with the wider clinical team
- Undertake telephone and face-to-face consultations
- Support patients with a range of urgent and out-of-hours healthcare needs
- Support overnight, weekend and bank holiday services
Requirements
- Full registration with the General Medical Council and a Licence to Practise
- Registration on the National Health Service Performers List
- Previous experience working as a General Practitioner in the United Kingdom
- Previous Out of Hours, urgent care or unscheduled care experience is desirable
- Competent using Adastra
- Ability to work autonomously and manage undifferentiated presentations
- Appropriate medical indemnity
- Completion of relevant mandatory training and compliance requirements
