About the Opportunity
We are recruiting experienced Urgent Care Practitioners to support urgent and unscheduled care services across a range of clinical settings. This role is ideal for clinicians who are confident managing urgent patient presentations, conducting remote assessments, and working within high-pressure clinical environments.
Services may involve:
- Telephone triage
- Remote clinical assessment
- Same Day Access services
- Out of Hours support
- Community urgent care services
- Escalation and referral support
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct remote and telephone clinical assessments
- Provide safe clinical advice and patient management
- Triage urgent patient presentations appropriately
- Escalate high-risk patients where required
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Support service demand and patient flow management
Requirements
- Current NMC or HCPC Registration
- Previous urgent care or triage experience
- Excellent clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently within fast-paced services
- Strong communication and decision-making abilities
- EMIS experience desirable
