About the Role
We're recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants to join supportive clinical teams across GP practices and community healthcare services. This is a great opportunity if you're looking for flexibility, variety of work, and the chance to deliver excellent patient care in a friendly environment. You’ll be working alongside clinicians to help ensure patients receive safe, timely, and high-quality support every day.
What You'll Be Doing
You’ll support day-to-day patient care by completing tasks such as phlebotomy/venepuncture, supporting with ECGs and NHS health checks, recording observations, and carrying out infection prevention and control procedures. You’ll also help keep services running smoothly through accurate patient documentation, stock and equipment preparation, and assisting clinicians with efficient patient flow.
Requirements
To be considered, you should have previous HCA experience within healthcare settings and strong communication and teamwork skills. Care Certificate (or equivalent) is desirable, and phlebotomy experience would be a major advantage.
Shifts Available
Choose from flexible weekday sessions, including community-based shifts and GP practice sessions, with options for ad-hoc or ongoing rota support, plus holiday and sickness cover.
