We are currently recruiting both newly qualified and experienced General Practitioners to support a wide range of Primary Care and urgent care services across Liverpool, Warrington, Chester, Southport and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians seeking flexible sessional work, portfolio GP opportunities, long-term rota stability, or additional sessions alongside existing commitments.

Services operate across a variety of settings including:

  • GP Practices
  • Out of Hours (OOH) services
  • Same Day Access clinics
  • Telephone and remote consultation services
  • Streaming and triage services
  • Community-based urgent care settings
  • Home visiting services supported by dedicated drivers
  • Hospital-linked Primary Care services

Shift Availability:

  • Weekday core hours
  • Evening OOH shifts
  • Overnight sessions
  • Weekend clinics
  • Short-notice sickness cover
  • Holiday and rota gap cover
  • Ad-hoc and ongoing rota sessions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake face-to-face and remote patient consultations
  • Assess, diagnose and manage acute and chronic presentations
  • Prescribe safely and effectively within scope of practice
  • Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Escalate and refer patients appropriately where required
  • Support effective patient flow and safe service delivery

Requirements:

  • GMC Registration with Licence to Practise
  • Inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List
  • Strong communication and consultation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in fast-paced environments
  • Primary Care experience desirable
  • EMIS or Adastra experience advantageous
