Role Overview
As a Midwife with Bluestones Medical at Leighton Hospital, you will provide compassionate, evidence‑based maternity care to women, birthing people, newborns, and their families. You’ll be responsible for supporting individuals throughout their pregnancy, labour, and postnatal journey, ensuring safe, high‑quality care in accordance with NMC standards and hospital guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and person‑centred antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.

Requirements
Essential
- Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Minimum of 6 months’ recent UK experience in midwifery (hospital or community setting).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Desirable
