Shift Details
Long Days (LD) and Night shifts available
Block bookings available for candidates seeking consistency and longer-term placements
Key Responsibilities
Assist in cardiac surgical procedures as a scrub practitioner
Prepare and maintain sterile environments within the operating theatre
Handle specialist cardiac instruments and equipment
Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre staff
Ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety are maintained
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
Proven experience as a scrub nurse within cardiac theatres
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
