Bluestones Medical is currently recruiting experienced and dedicated Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) specialising in Anaesthetics to support services across Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. Key Responsibilities
- Assist anaesthetists during the administration of anaesthesia.
- Prepare and maintain anaesthetic equipment and theatre environments.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after anaesthetic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative journey.
- Adhere to all infection prevention, clinical governance, and health and safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary theatre teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Operating Department Practitioner.
- Previous experience working within an anaesthetic theatre setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
- Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to update).
- Right to work in the UK.
