Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) / Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) Primary Care, OOH & Urgent Care Locations: Liverpool

About the Role
We are seeking experienced ANPs and ACPs to support a range of primary care and urgent care services across multiple locations. This role is ideal for autonomous clinicians who are comfortable assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations in fast-paced settings, making sound clinical decisions, and ensuring patients receive timely, safe care.
Depending on service demand, you may work in GP practices, out of hours services, telephone triage, same day access/streaming clinics, community urgent care, and home visiting support.
Key Responsibilities
- You will provide autonomous patient assessment, manage minor illness presentations, and develop clinical treatment plans.
- You will deliver both face-to-face and remote consultations, prescribe within scope of practice, and ensure appropriate referral and escalation for more complex cases.
- You will also maintain accurate patient records using EMIS and/or Adastra and support smooth, safe patient flow.
Requirements
- Full, unrestricted NMC or HCPC registration
- BSc in Nursing (or relevant qualification)
- Non-Medical Prescribing V300
- Level 7 Clinical Assessment & Diagnostics
- Previous Primary Care / General Practice experience
- Ability to work independently in busy services
- Competent in both face-to-face and remote consultations
- EMIS and/or Adastra experience desirable
Desirable Experience
- MSc Advanced Clinical Practice
- OOH or Urgent Care experience
- Streaming / Same Day Access experience
