Bluestones360 are looking to recruit HGV2 Refuse Drivers for our client based in Matlock, Derbyshire
The role involves:-
- Working as a class 2 refuse driver
- Working in a team of 2/3 emptying domestic bins in housing estates
- Working for the local council
- Liaising with the general public
- Customer Service
- Carrying out vehicle checks
- Assist the loaders with loading the bins onto the back of the lorry
Successful candidates will be required to;-
- Have a valid class 2 licence
- Hold a valid CPC card
- Have at least 6m refuse experience (preferred but not essential)
- Be flexible on work (driving and loading but always paid as a driver)
Please note: As above, you may occasionally be required to assist with loader duties so you will need to have the flexibility to carry these duties out.
Shifts/hours/pay
Monday - Friday 0600 - 1500 (Aprox)
£15.74 per hour
Time and a half after 8 hours per day
Time and a half Saturday
Double time Sunday and Bank Holidays
This is a long term position with temp to perms roles available for suitable candidates
Full uniform will be issued
