An office-based role providing full support to and working alongside colleagues in Sales roles and your own team members. To be fully accountable for the efficient and effective management of all tasks involved in processing and progressing finance agreements. Working with your colleagues to obtain and accurately record on our management information system (CRM) all necessary information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide all the support required to structure and conclude finance agreements, including obtaining all relevant information and communicating with clients, partners and banks where necessary.
- Accepting new opportunities/leads from the sales team and supporting customers throughout the process including:
- Adding new company and contact information and updating existing company and contact information on our CRM.
- Raising, editing and abandoning quotations.
- Accurately record data associated with the agreement.
- Approach relevant banks to secure funding/credit for the customer.
- Generate and check all relevant finance documentation.
- Request and check invoices from suppliers needed for an agreement, including managing payment terms where required.
- Ensure that the highest standards of quality, control and compliance with the requirements of relevant regulatory bodies are met throughout the process including completing relevant basic checks on each agreement.
- Submit completed paperwork to the bank and liaise with them to conclude each agreement.
- Keeping a visual record showing the progress of all agreements in our central area.
- To provide colleagues, your manager and management with updates and reporting information as and when required and on a timely basis.
- To undertake ad hoc admin duties as and when necessary.
Skill Requirements Essential/Desirable:
- Minimum 2/3 years B2B sales support experience.
- To have some experience working with a CRM.
- Ability to work efficiently in a highly pressured environment.
- To be very organised and methodical in approach with excellent attention to detail.
- To take pride in complete ownership of your work.
- To have a basic appreciation of company financial statements.
- To be proficient and confident working with numbers.
- To be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- To be able to work well in a team.
