You’ll provide one-to-one, person-centred care to individuals with lifelong disabilities, autism, and mental health needs across our West Sussex communities. Our goal is to empower people to live fulfilling, independent, and safe lives in their own homes and with their families while accessing the support they need to thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting with personal care and hygiene.
- Helping with shopping, cooking, and promoting healthy living.
- Assisting with domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe home.
- Supporting with medication administration or prompting.
- Providing companionship and reducing isolation through social outings, appointments, and errands.
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and relationships.
- Promoting independence, recovery, and self-confidence.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
- Always promoting safety, dignity, and respect.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, compassionate, and patient attitude.
- A flexible and responsible approach to work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience in care is helpful but not essential; we provide full training.
