At Bluestar Care and Support, we are looking for caring and reliable individuals to join our team as Home Care Support Workers. You will provide one-to-one, person-centred care to individuals with lifelong disabilities, autism, and mental health needs across our West Sussex communities. Our goal is to empower people to live fulfilling, independent, and safe lives in their own homes and with their families while accessing the support they need to thrive.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Supporting with personal care and hygiene.
- Helping with shopping, cooking, and promoting healthy living.
- Assisting with domestic tasks to maintain a clean and safe home.
- Supporting with medication administration or prompting.
- Providing companionship and reducing isolation through social outings, appointments, and errands.
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and relationships.
- Promoting independence, recovery, and self-confidence.
- Maintaining accurate care records.
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments.
- A flexible and responsible approach to work.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred, but not essential. Experience in care is helpful but not essential; we provide full training.
