Warehouse & Facilities Manager / Grimsby / Up to 40,000 per year D.O.E. + Benefits

BlueSky is looking for a hands on Warehouse Manager who loves leading from the front, so if you have the drive to improve processes, motivate people and make a real impact, this could be the role for you.

We' re looking for an experienced and ambitious Warehouse & Facilities Manager to take the lead in a busy and fast-paced operation. This is a genuine boots-on-the-ground role where you'll have the opportunity to shape the operation, drive positive change and build a happy, motivated and high-performing team.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you'll oversee Warehouse, Production/Rework, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance and Facilities, ensuring the operation consistently delivers high standards of service, efficiency and accuracy.

• Salary of £35,000-£40,000, depending on experience

What you'll be doing as a Warehouse and Facilities Manager:

• Leading, motivating and developing a positive and high-performing operational team
• Taking ownership of day-to-day warehouse, production and dispatch activities
• Driving improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality and customer service
• Maintaining excellent inventory accuracy and stock control
• Managing stock takes, cycle counts and resolving inventory discrepancies
• Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance, housekeeping and operational safety
• Managing warehouse facilities, equipment and operational readiness
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and implementing positive change
• Coaching and supporting your team to achieve their full potential
• Leading from the front and getting involved in the day-to-day operation when needed

What we're looking for:

You'll be a confident and capable leader with previous experience managing a warehouse or operational environment. You'll enjoy being visible within the operation, working alongside your team and taking pride in making things run better.

We're particularly looking for:

• Previous Warehouse or Operations Management experience
• Strong leadership and people-management skills
• A genuinely hands-on, proactive and positive approach
• Experience in inventory control and stock management
• A passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
• The ability to motivate people and create a happy, engaged team
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• A valid and current forklift licence - essential
