Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong background in infrastructure and support? Do you enjoy resolving complex technical issues while contributing to large-scale IT improvement projects? We're looking for a proactive Technical Support Analyst to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, providing second- and third-line support while helping to deliver critical infrastructure upgrades.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Support and maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure across hybrid platforms (Azure, VMware, SD-WAN, etc.)
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line technical support to resolve incidents that fall outside of first-line capabilities
  • Manage and maintain core network systems and site-to-site connectivity
  • Liaise with third-party suppliers and infrastructure partners to ensure SLAs are met
  • Assist in the delivery of infrastructure projects and digital transformation initiatives
  • Travel to regional sites as required to support and train local teams
  • Maintain clear documentation of system changes, processes, and configurations
  • Ensure backup and disaster recovery processes are robust and tested regularly
  • Contribute to BAU support, including desktop support, software deployment, and routine maintenance

What We're Looking For:

  • Solid experience in infrastructure or technical support roles, ideally with exposure to mentoring or leading junior staff
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration
  • Knowledge of networking and SD-WAN (Cisco Meraki or Unifi preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, Windows Server, backup solutions (Veeam/Altaro), and cyber security tools (Sophos, Forcepoint)
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolving business and technical environments
  • Excellent communication skills – able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when needed

Bonus if You Have:

  • Certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, Azure Admin, VMware, or Microsoft 365 Admin
  • Experience with telephony platforms (Teams or 8x8) and mobile device management
