Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for finance transformation, process improvement and technology-led change? We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Transformation Business Analyst to join an exciting transformation programme focused on modernising finance operations, streamlining business processes and delivering lasting organisational improvements.

The Role
Working across business and technical teams, you'll go beyond traditional business analysis by understanding the underlying business challenges, challenging existing ways of working and designing practical, scalable solutions. You'll play a key role in delivering finance transformation initiatives, supporting platform consolidation, process optimisation, automation and data-driven decision making. This role would suit someone who enjoys combining analytical thinking with innovation and is comfortable using emerging technologies to accelerate solution design.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business problems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Facilitate workshops and gather business requirements from stakeholders at all levels.
- Perform root cause analysis and challenge existing processes.
- Map end-to-end business processes, data flows and system integrations.
- Design future-state processes focused on efficiency, automation and scalability.
- Develop technology-enabled solutions to improve finance operations.
- Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT to support analysis, workshop outputs, solution design and rapid prototyping.
- Collaborate with technical teams to assess solution options and implementation approaches.
- Support finance transformation, systems implementation and platform consolidation projects.
- Contribute to project planning, testing, business readiness, risk management and benefits realisation.
What We're Looking For
You'll have proven experience working as a Business Analyst, Transformation Analyst, Process Analyst or Solution Analyst within business and technology transformation programmes. You'll also bring:
- Strong understanding of finance operations and business processes.
- Experience delivering business change and technology transformation projects.
- Excellent business analysis, requirements gathering and process mapping skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation experience.
- Experience developing business cases and supporting project delivery.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of systems integration and end-to-end business processes.
- An interest in AI-assisted analysis, automation and emerging technologies.
Desirable Experience
Experience in any of the following would be advantageous:
