KITCHEN ASSISTANT / PORTER.
Part time kitchen assistant needed
We\’re a wedding & events catering company based on the outskirts of York (YO329LE). Buses from the centre of York stop right outside our unit.
Kitchen experience is a bonus but no experience is required as full training given. Most important is a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Main duties include food prep, cleaning and pot washing. An opportunity to be involved with food prep and cooking, with training given as you progress.
What we\’re offering;
– Part time position
– 28 holidays per annum pro rata (We\’re closed over Christmas)
– Free food & drink provided on shift
Hours can change week to week but there is flexibility within this. Most midweeks are 9-4pm though we can work around peoples timetables if need, ie. later starts. Must be available on some Saturdays & Sundays but not all Extra hours available in the holidays also.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £12.50-£13 per hour (dependant on age and experience)
