South Thames College is seeking a qualified and experienced Lecturer to lead, teach and assess the CIPD Level 5 Associate Diploma in People Management. The role involves delivering the programme through blended and online approaches, using online assessment workbooks and assessments.
Responsibilities
- Planning and preparing modules.
- Delivering engaging teaching sessions.
- Conducting tutorials.
- Assessing and marking student work.
- Supporting learners throughout the programme.
- Keeping up to date with developments in the curriculum and integrating new knowledge into your teaching.
Qualifications
- A degree in a relevant subject.
- A recognised CIPD qualification.
- A teaching qualification (or willing to work towards).
- Demonstrable experience teaching CIPD qualifications.
- A strong understanding of the Level 5 curriculum.
- Experience delivering online or blended programmes.
- Experience in tutoring and supporting adult learners, including setting and monitoring targets and reviewing progress.
Additional Requirements
- Relevant experience of working as a leader or manager in a commercial/business setting.
- Ideally hold an assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA).
- Experience of assessing via an online portal.
- High level of computer literacy, including familiarity with Blackboard or alternative virtual learning environments and other Information and Learning Technology resources in Teaching and Learning.
