Sessional Lecturer – Accounting (AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting)

Join Bluerise BV as a part‑time lecturer teaching AAT accounting to adult students at South Thames College.

Teaching Schedule

• Fridays – 5.5 hours per session, 22 weeks

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and assessment for the AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting.
• Maintain high standards of learning and teaching to meet expectations of the College and awarding bodies.
• Prepare and deliver lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback and support to students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Monitor and report on student progress to the College and awarding bodies.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional level qualifications in AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• Experience teaching AAT or similar accounting qualifications.
• Teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Approval from AAT to teach AAT qualifications.
• Strong IT skills – experience with Sage, Excel, and other accounting software.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time‑management skills.
