HGV / LGV Mechanic Required in Aberdeen!
Position Details:
- £17.47 PAYE + Rolled up Holiday + Pension
- Immediate Start Available
- 35hrs/week
This role involves carrying out repairs, servicing, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles and plant equipment within their fleet, workshops, and depots. This is a long-term opportunity for an experienced mechanic who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work confidently across various types of plant and vehicle equipment.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Attending and working on breakdowns across Aberdeen
- Inspecting, servicing and repairing vehicles, plant, and equipment to required standards
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations and procedures
- Operating equipment safely and reporting defects to your supervisor
- Completing digital documentation and associated paperwork
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions when required
You may occasionally be working outside normal hours, this is paid at an enhanced rate.
You Should have:
- City & Guilds Construction Plant Maintenance SVQ, or equivalent mechanical engineering qualification
- Experience working on plant and vehicle equipment
- A full UK driving licence with Category C
- Digital competency and ability to work with computers.
