Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an intermediate Structural Engineer to join a leading structural engineering consultancy in a permanent position (our client would also consider candidates with a senior background). As the successful candidate you will be required to work on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week in our client\’s London office.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of projects including residential and commercial.
-Competitive salary from 35,000- 40,000 (depending on experience).
–Hybrid working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design structural solutions using materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
-Produce reports, calculations, and drawings for new-build and refurbishment projects.
-Collaborate with clients, architects, and consultants on integrated design strategies.
-Assist senior engineers and participate in meetings and design reviews.
-Carry out site inspections and provide technical input during construction.
-Use software like Tekla, Robot, ETABS, and Revit for analysis and design.
What we are looking for:
-Must have prior residential and commercial experience (new build and refurb experience is a plus!)
-Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng preferred).
-Working knowledge of British Standards, Eurocodes, and Building Regulations.
-Proficient in structural analysis and design software.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-On the path to Chartership or already Chartered (ICE or IStructE) is a plus!
