This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of high-profile infrastructure and development projects across the UK, with a company that values technical excellence, creativity, and continuous professional development. This exciting role will be offered on a permanent basis, with a hybrid working model. You will be required to work three days a week in the client's office in Bedford.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure projects, including roads and drainage.
- Produce drawings, calculations, and specs using Civil 3D and MicroDrainage.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, local authorities, and internal teams.
- Prepare technical reports, including Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.
- Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and regulatory standards.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Chartered or working towards chartered status (ICE or equivalent).
- Solid experience in infrastructure design for residential and commercial schemes.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage.
- Strong knowledge of UK standards and approval processes.
- Confident communicator with leadership and project management skills.
