Job Description

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Civil & Structural engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. Initially you will be required to commute 5 days/week to Slough, however flexibility to hybrid is available after 1 month.

This is a great opportunity to work on a range of Water and Rail projects.

-Competitive salary: £45,000-£55,000 (depending on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead budgeting, cost planning, and CVR management across multiple live projects.

-Manage subcontractor/client applications, valuations, variations, and final accounts.

-Represent RWP in meetings, providing commercial input to decisions.

-Oversee tenders, negotiate terms, and administer NEC3/4 contracts.

-Collaborate with engineers, CAD teams, and PMs to align delivery with commercial goals.

-Produce monthly reports, forecasts, and cash flow analysis for stakeholders.

What we are looking for:

-Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.

-Must have 3-5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor.

-Familiarity with NEC forms of contract (Option A or C) and experience administering them.

-Strong understanding and knowledge of Excel, Word, and project costing tools.

-Excellent communication skills.
