What will you be doing?

  • Monthly payment applications — preparing, submitting, and securing approval.
  • Contract compliance — ensuring all work aligns with contractual requirements.
  • Target cost contract management — developing, forecasting, and mitigating risks.
  • Cost control — tracking project costs against budgets and forecasts.
  • Cost reporting — compiling and analysing commercial performance data.
  • Subcontractor management — preparing packages, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Change management — assessing, pricing, and negotiating variations.
  • Tender support — contributing to procurement strategies and documentation.
  • Project coordination — ensuring accurate cost capture and timely reporting.
  • Team collaboration — working across disciplines to support successful delivery.

What you’ll bring

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying (infrastructure or civil engineering preferred).
  • Degree‑level qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 target cost contracts.
  • Experience with payment applications and commercial administration (CVRs, reporting, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with confident stakeholder communication.
  • Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with CEMAR or Causeway‑CPA is an advantage.
