Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a leading MEP engineering firm, on a 12-month contract basis, outside IR35. Within this role, you will be required to work on-site from our client\'s office, located near Camberley. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work on several large-scale Public Health projects, leading a dynamic and skilled workforce. -Competitive day rate ranging from £300-£325 (depending on experience). -On-site working arrangements. Responsibilities: -Manage and oversee Mechanical and/or MEP projects, focusing on the design, implementation, commissioning, and handover stages. -Lead and develop project programmes, resource plans, risk and concern reports, and budgets. -Collaborate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals, to ensure efficient implementation of plans and specifications. -Ensure that all project works follow and comply with current UK regulations, health and safety, quality standards, and environmental principles. -Observe project development, promoting corrective strategies to ensure the project remains on track with schedules, whilst maintaining up-to-date documentation. -Take accountability for the project administration, finances, procurement, variation control, and subcontractor delivery. Requirements: -Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Building Services Engineering is ideal. -Prior experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, or a related position, with an understanding of managing and overseeing Mechanical and/or MEP projects. -Solid technical background, with an understanding of ventilation, plumbing, HVAC, heating, and control systems. -Excellent commercial awareness, with project management and budget control abilities. -Sound stakeholder management skills, with an ability to build and maintain rapport through effective communication, organisation, and leadership skills
