Blueprint Recruitment are looking for driven and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineers to join a leading architecture and engineering firm, on a long-term, outside IR35 contract basis in Manchester. The chosen candidate will have the opportunity to work on a mixture of exciting Leisure, Education and Sports projects and will be expected to travel to the office on a weekly hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical systems for buildings (HVAC, water, ventilation).
- Create detailed designs and drawings using software like AutoCAD and Revit.
- Work closely with other teams to make sure designs are integrated across projects.
- Visit sites and meet with clients to ensure designs are being implemented correctly.
- Ensure designs meet all relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
- Extensive experience in mechanical design.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software.
