Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is a leading Environment and Building Services Consultancy, offering sustainable solutions for Mechanical and Electrical areas of building design, including infrastructure planning and BIM Services; specialising in sectors such as Residential, Education, Commercial, Sport, Leisure, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

1. You will be expected to align with client briefs to develop, present, and deliver technical solutions accordingly.
2. Report on any feedback from the client.
3. You will be responsible for overseeing the project work and providing updates when necessary to the project manager.
4. Deliver designs within time scales.
5. Support other members of your team.
6. You will be responsible for liaising with external members of the design team, such as Clients and Architects.

Key Requirements:

1. Must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
2. Have effective IT skills to be able to produce material.
3. Must have experience with Revit and CAD.
4. Have experience with Bluebeam.
5. Experience using software packages such as IES or HEVACOMP.
6. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
7. Required to have a minimum of two years’ experience working within an engineering environment.
8. Have experience dealing with, coordinating, and producing projects, with an understanding of project management tools and the delivery of projects.
9. Able to work efficiently within a team environment.
