An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM Automation Specialist to join an established digital delivery team, helping transform BIM workflows through automation and intelligent digital solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who is an expert in Dynamo and enjoys developing automation tools that improve efficiency, reduce manual processes and enhance BIM data quality. Working remotely, you will collaborate with BIM professionals to automate repetitive Revit workflows, improve Common Data Environment (CDE) processes and develop innovative digital solutions across live projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing digital delivery by creating scalable automation tools, improving BIM standards and supporting the wider adoption of efficient workflows.
The RoleAs a BIM Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Developing Dynamo scripts to automate repetitive Revit workflows
- Creating BIM automation tools to improve project efficiency and consistency
- Automating model checking, validation and quality assurance processes
- Streamlining BIM data extraction and reporting
- Developing workflows for COBie data management and validation
- Supporting automation across Common Data Environments (CDEs)
- Improving BIM standards, templates and digital delivery processes
- Working closely with BIM teams to identify opportunities for automation
- Producing technical documentation and supporting knowledge sharing
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of digital engineering workflows
This position offers the opportunity to shape digital delivery processes while working on innovative BIM automation initiatives.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for an experienced BIM Automation Specialist with exceptional Dynamo expertise. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Previous experience as a BIM Automation Specialist, Digital Engineer or BIM Developer
- Advanced knowledge of Dynamo for Revit automation
- Strong experience using Autodesk Revit
- Experience developing BIM automation workflows
- Good understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM standards
- Experience working with COBie and structured BIM data
- Knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or other Common Data Environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
The following would be highly advantageous:
- Experience with Python or the Revit API
- Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query
- Experience developing BIM templates and standards
- Experience delivering BIM training or supporting digital transformation initiatives
- Outside IR35 contract
- Up to £50 per hour
