Information Manager

#28016 – Information Manager Searching for London-based Information Managers— we’re currently working with a leading design and build contractor looking for an Architectural or MEP biased information Manager. You will be based on site working across two large Data Centre projects in the UK. The successful applicant must have coordination experience within a multidisciplinary environment. – Hourly rates Outside IR35 (large rate variation depending on experience). – Full time on site — London Requirements: -Expert with the following software – ACC, Revit -Ability to implement and govern BIM Execution Plans (BEP) – Quality Assurance and Quality control experience -Prior experience as a BIM coordinator, or a related role, preferably in infrastructure and/or buildings. -Substantial experience within an Architectural Technician role, or similar, designing detailed models and drawings -Qualification in within a relevant industry field, preferably in architectural technology and/or building engineering, or a similar discipline. Responsibilities: -Oversee BIM design models and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (MEP, Architecture…) ensuring the designs meet the project requirements. – Oversee QA/ QC -Conduct clash detection tests to find complications, and problems, and ensure that the models follow project specifications and the BIM Execution Plan. -Make sure that models are concise and that documentation is organised efficiently in the Common Data Environment. -Run regular quality checks to ensure that the design models comply with client and project requirements.
