Blueprint Recruitment Solutions is looking for an experienced recruiter to join our Building Services team as a Senior Specialist Recruiter.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the candidate side of recruitment, building relationships, developing talent networks and becoming a true market specialist. You'll work alongside established consultants and directors, focusing on sourcing, managing and placing high-calibre engineering professionals across the UK.

The Role
As a Senior Specialist Recruiter, you'll become a recognised expert within your market, building long-term relationships with engineering professionals and supporting clients in securing the industry's best talent.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining a network of Building Services professionals
- Headhunting and engaging passive candidates across the UK
- Conducting detailed candidate qualification and career consultations
- Managing the recruitment process from initial contact through to placement
- Creating candidate shortlists and market intelligence for clients
- Developing talent pipelines for current and future vacancies
- Working closely with consultants and directors to deliver on client requirements
- Providing mentorship and support to less experienced recruiters
- Acting as a trusted advisor to candidates throughout their career journey
Our Clients
You'll support recruitment for leading engineering consultancies, contractors, local authorities and major infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous recruitment experience, ideally within a 180 or delivery-focused role
- Enjoys building long-term relationships with candidates
- Has strong sourcing, headhunting and networking skills
- Is organised, driven and commercially aware
- Takes pride in providing an excellent candidate experience
- Enjoys becoming a genuine specialist within their market
- Can commute to our Fareham office Monday-Friday
Experience within engineering, construction, technical or professional services recruitment would be advantageous but is not essential.
