We're looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support the delivery of electrical works across major water and infrastructure projects. You’ll provide hands-on engineering support from installation through to testing and commissioning, coordinating subcontractors and resolving technical issues to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating electrical subcontractors, suppliers and specialist vendors
- Supervising electrical installations on site
- Supporting construction, testing and commissioning activities
- Witnessing FAT, SAT and commissioning
- Resolving technical queries, design issues and non-conformances
- Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate handover documentation
- Liaising with clients, designers and multidisciplinary project teams
What we’re looking for:
- Degree, HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical project delivery experience within water, utilities, infrastructure or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of LV electrical systems
- Experience with instrumentation and control systems
- Good testing and commissioning knowledge
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship restrictions
The opportunity: £45,000-£60,000, offering the chance to take a key site-based engineering role across electrical installation and commissioning within the water sector.
