An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced BIM Technician to join a growing Building Services consultancy delivering technically complex engineering projects across the defence, education, nuclear and infrastructure sectors. This BIM Technician role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of BIM delivery during the later design stages, producing high-quality coordinated Revit MEP models and working closely with engineers to deliver technically demanding projects. The successful BIM Technician will support the delivery of multidisciplinary MEP projects, playing a key role throughout the detailed design process while helping to drive BIM quality and coordination across a diverse portfolio of work.
The Role
- Producing coordinated Revit MEP models across a range of Building Services projects
- Delivering BIM packages through RIBA Stage 4, with particular focus on Stages 4A, 4B and 4C
- Developing detailed construction models and technical drawings
- Coordinating mechanical, electrical and public health services within multidisciplinary project teams
- Resolving design clashes and supporting BIM coordination meetings
- Working closely with engineers to develop practical, buildable design solutions
- Reviewing and maintaining BIM standards throughout project delivery
- Supporting projects from detailed design through to construction
