Calling all Design Managers! Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to join a leading Contractor in Bristol! The selected candidate will have the have the opportunity to work on a Data Centre and an Energy to Waste and project. Our client is looking for a Design Manager to be responsible for managing the design team, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring that objectives are met. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design team in developing project design briefs, concepts and specifications Ensure design activities are completed on time and within budget Provide guidance and support to design team members as needed Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively Attend project, client and team meetings when required Coordinate design activities across multiple disciplines Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding design matters Key Requirements: Detailed design experience Ability to attend the Bristol site Strong knowledge of design principles, building codes and regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Previous experience using design software and tools Working knowledge of sustainable design practices and building standards
