Are you a Civil Structural Engineer and ready for the next step in your career?

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for multiple Senior/PrincipalCivil Structural Engineer to join a well-established infrastructure company, on a contract basis, outside IR35. This role will require you to work on a Hybrid basis from our client’s office in Manchester, 3 days a week. Your responsibilities will include working on civil and structural projects, with a focus on civil, looking into slab and foundation design.

–Hourly rate between £55-£60 (depending on experience).

–Hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities:

-Assist in the preparation of civil and structural analysis, calculations, reports, and specifications as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

-Develop structural designs from initial concept to detailed design, ensuring they meet all applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.

-Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to communicate design requirements and coordinate with other engineering disciplines.

-Support construction activities by attending site visits, design reviews, and project meetings as needed.

-Participate in client meetings with guidance, helping to present technical information clearly and professionally.

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, and at, or working towards, a chartered status, with security clearance.

-Extensive experience as a civil structural engineer, or similar field, with a focus on nuclear projects.

-Strong proficiency in structural software and UK design codes and Eurocodes.

-Solid understanding of structural behaviour and construction materials.

-Ability to communicate effectively and work with multidisciplinary teams.

-Organisation and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
