Job Description
Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced CDM Co-ordinator to join a leading construction and infrastructure company, on a 7-month contract basis. Within this role, you will be required to work on a remote basis, attending one of our client's regional offices, nationwide, 1 day a week. As the successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to act as 'Principal Design Representative - Delivery', within a large-scale National Grid project.\\n\\n-Competitive day rate of £600-£620 (depending on experience).\\n\\n-Remote working arrangements.\\n\\nResponsibilities:\\n\\n-Act as the client's and principal designer's lead by ensuring that all roles and responsibilities are transparent, clear, and being followed accurately.\\n\\n-Conduct and attend Principal Designer meetings and Pre-Construction Information (PCI) reviews.\\n\\n-Manage and oversee the design works throughout the project's lifespan, ensuring that the workforce all comply with health and safety procedures effectively.\\n\\n-Collaborate with the Principal Contractor to share and discuss information centred around the planning, monitoring, and management of the construction stage.\\n\\n-Direct and oversee Hazard Review Meetings (HRMs), whilst maintaining concise up-to-date records and documentation within the project hazard register.\\n\\nRequirements: \\n\\n-Extensive experience as a CDM Coordinator or Principal Designer on mid to large-scale National Grid projects.\\n\\n-Solid understanding of CDM 2015 regulations, health and safety legislation, and industry best practices.\\n\\n-Strong ability to review design documents, hazard registers, method statements, and risk assessments.\\n\\n-Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, designers, and regulators.\\n\\n-Must have a relevant health and safety qualification (e.g.
NEBOSH, IOSH) and must be committed to ongoing professional development.\\n\\n-Highly organised with strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under limited deadlines
