Senior / Principal Civil Design Engineer - Water & Energy Sectors Hybrid working with flexible hours Locations: Cardiff, Bristol, South Wales Up to £60k (Senior) or £70k (Principal) + package We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering design consultancy with a strong and growing presence across the water, energy and heavy industrial sectors. Based from their office in South Wales, this is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding in-house design team working on exciting, multi-disciplinary projects. The Role You'll take technical ownership of a portfolio of projects - from outline through to detailed design, working collaboratively with clients, contractors and the wider supply chain. You'll also play a key role in leading and mentoring junior engineers within the team. Key Responsibilities Preparation of outline and detailed civil designs to relevant standards Design calculations, reports, drawings and BIM-led deliverables Project management - budgets, programmes, quality and H&S compliance Leading and developing team members Building and maintaining strong client relationships What They're Looking For Degree in Civil Engineering Experience in water and/or energy sectors Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and UK Codes of Practice Confident leading teams and mentoring junior engineers Chartered or working towards chartership (desirable) Full UK driving licence What's On Offer Up to £55k (Senior) or £70k (Principal) dependent on experience Hybrid and flexible working Strong training, development and chartership support Long term Anglian Water AMP8 pipeline of work
