Our client, an established architecture firm, is looking for a talented Architect to join their team, on a permanent basis. All operations will take place from their main office, located near Blackburn, where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of healthcare projects. Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the production of architectural design proposals for a variety of healthcare projects, developing it from concept through to design.
- Create concise technical drawings, models, construction documentation, and specifications, following current regulations and policies.
- Work alongside multidisciplinary consultants to efficiently implement all elements of constructability maintenance, design, and performance reports and reviews.
- Build and maintain rapport with clients, allowing for effective communication, to present design concepts, respond to feedback, and maintain overall quality.
Requirements:
- Qualification in Architecture with 2-3+ years of experience working as an Architect.
- Impressive portfolio of previous works, demonstrating strong design capabilities within healthcare architecture projects.
- Strong understanding of relevant software tools, such as Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD, with a good grasp of construction documentation production and specification writing.
- Solid acknowledgement of current building regulations, accessibility, planning law, health and safety, fire policies, and sustainability standards.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with an ability to collaborate with other project professionals, clients, and other relevant professionals.
- Must have strong organisation skills, with a problem-solving and proactive approach, with the ability to manage and oversee several concurrent projects.
