Are you ready for the next step in your career journey? We are looking for an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our client's structural engineering consultancy, in a permanent position. This leading organisation is offering one individual the opportunity to operate from their Birmingham office to work on a large variety of projects, with a focus on pavement, drainage, and highway design. Join now to oversee a team of engineers and design and develop several civil systems.
- Competitive salary ranging from Β£50,000-Β£60,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:
- Oversee structural engineering design activities, from concept to completion, across a variety of multidisciplinary projects, ranging from Residential to Commercial.
- Manage professional teams, focusing on performance, reviews task delegation, and junior engineer mentoring, promoting professional development.
- Produce, develop, and review structural drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations, throughout all project stages.
- Support business development through client presentations, proposal preparation, and ensuring brilliance through new advancements within structural engineering.
- Coordinate with architects, internal stakeholders, contractors, and clients to suggest and implement structural solutions, enhancing project efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor and oversee project delivery, programme milestones, and budgets, identifying potential risks and concerns early, allowing for appropriate escalation.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related discipline, with a chartered status, or actively working towards achieving one.
- Profound demonstrable experience managing teams and producing works for a variety of projects, ideally working on drainage, pavement, and highway designs.
- Strong understanding of relevant software tools, such as Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar.
- Significant technical understanding of structural elements and materials, as well as relevant regulations, design codes, construction strategies, and industry best practices.
- Effective communication and team management skills, with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with industry experts and relevant bodies.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset, as well as a drive to promote project and business progression and development.
