This role is ideal for someone with strong NEC contract experience who enjoys managing multiple live projects while working closely with operational, commercial and client teams to drive successful project delivery. You'll be joining an established commercial function supporting a portfolio of infrastructure projects, with responsibility for commercial management across multiple schemes at various stages of delivery.
The Role
- Managing the commercial performance of multiple infrastructure projects
- Administering NEC contracts and supporting project delivery teams
- Preparing valuations, forecasts and cost reports
- Managing subcontractor accounts and payment applications
- Monitoring project costs, risks and commercial performance
- Supporting change management and compensation event processes
- Working closely with project managers, engineers and client stakeholders
- Assisting with monthly reporting and commercial reviews
The role will involve supporting a portfolio of projects valued up to £1m, with multiple schemes running concurrently.

- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, infrastructure or utilities sectors
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts
- Experience managing project costs and commercial reporting
- Good commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
Experience with:
- NEC Option A
- NEC Option C
- NEC Option E would be highly beneficial.
Water sector experience is preferred but not essential, and candidates from other infrastructure or civil engineering backgrounds will be considered.
